Best Buy Scholarship

The Best Buy Scholarship program is designed to help students in grades 9-12 reach their dreams of college by providing access to education. The program is sponsored by Best Buy, one of the largest electronics and appliances retailer chains in the country.

The program awards scholarships to students living in the United States who plan to enter a full-time undergraduate course of study after graduating high school. Each year, the company grants about 1,200 students a scholarship award. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, volunteerism efforts and/or work experience.

Since 1999 in partnership with the Best Buy Children’s Foundation, Best Buy has provided nearly $19.7 million in scholarship funds to help more than 15,000 students attend college.

To apply, students must complete and submit an electronic application online; no paper applications will be accepted.
