American Airlines Credit Union Scholarships
American Airlines Credit Union Scholarships help college-bound high school students as well as current college students across the country pursue their higher education goals.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or already attending a college, university or trade school. Adults continuing their education are also eligible to apply. The number and amount of scholarships vary.

In 2011, for example, six $2,000 scholarships and two $7,500 scholarships were awarded. In 2012, six $5,000 scholarships were awarded to outstanding students.

Founded in 1936, American Airlines Credit Union has been serving the needs of American Airlines employees, retirees and their families.

The American Airlines Credit Union Scholarship was established in 2004, usually awarding six to eight scholarships annually. Applicants must have a current credit union account of their own in good standing; a parent's account is not accepted.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
