Other eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship, a grade point average of 2.5 or above, full-time enrollment in an accredited U.S. school or college of pharmacy, a demonstrated interest in pharmacy, and leadership qualities and accomplishments.
Scholarships are awarded at the NCPA Annual Convention for which award recipients will receive a stipend of $300 to help cover travel expenses.
The NCPA Foundation was established as a non-profit organization in 1953. Its primary objective is to provide educational support to students interested in pharmacy, provide support for research to advance the pharmacy industry, and give financial support to pharmacies due to disaster or other unforeseen circumstances.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,000.
