Students must be age 17 to 30, live in the zip codes 75203, 75204, 75210, 75211, 75215, 75216, 75217, 75219, 75223, 75226, 75241 or within the City of Irving, Texas, maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5, and enroll as a full-time student.
B.E.L.I.E.F. Foundation was established in 1996 as a non-profit organization to help low-income students living in low-income areas around Dallas attend college. The program expanded to include Irving, Texas. The scholarship is renewable up to three years. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on financial need, leadership qualities, academic performance and career goals.
B.E.L.I.E.F. has granted over 200 scholarships totaling more than $2,000,000 to low-income seniors and college students residing within 22 zip codes in the Dallas and Irving, Texas area communities.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
