(ISC)² Information Security Scholarships

(ISC)² Information Security Scholarships
(ISC)² Information Security Scholarships offers scholarship opportunities for both women and undergraduate students pursuing careers in information security. Students seeking a two-year or four-year degree qualify for the scholarship.

Two Women's Scholarships are awarded to women only to encourage more females to pursue studies relating to computer and network security. Several Undergraduate Scholarships are offered to all undergraduate students interested in information security.

Eligible students must maintain a grade point average of 3.2 or above. They must have completed their first year of college prior to applying for the scholarship. Students enrolled in a two-year Associates Degree program are also eligible, and they may attend either full-time or part-time.

The scholarships are funded by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc., (ISC)²®, a global non-profit organization who supports information security professionals worldwide. They provide products, information, training, continuing education and certification programs for information security professionals in 135 countries.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000 - $40,000.
