Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholars Program

Northrop Grumman Engineering Scholars ProgramNorthrop Grumman Engineering Scholars Program is open to high school seniors who are pursuing careers in engineering and reside in specific counties in Maryland, California, Florida, Illinois, New York, Ohio, Utah and Virginia.

Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or above, SAT score of 1700 or ACT score of 27, and either accepted or currently attending an accredited four-year college or university studying engineering. Scholarship recipients must also accept a summer internship with the company for at least two summers.

The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage more students who live in areas where there is a critical shortage of engineers to pursue careers in engineering. Students must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 throughout college in order to continue to receive scholarship funds.

Northrop Grumman is a world producer of technology for industries that include weapons systems, commercial aviation, energy, health, information technology, space, naval and defense systems. They are headquartered in Virginia with locations in the U.K., Europe, Australia, India, Asia, and Middle East.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
