HACU Scholarship Program

HACU Scholarship ProgramHACU Scholarship Program offers several scholarships for Hispanic undergraduate and graduate college students who have financial need. The scholarships enable them to attend a HACU-member college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.

Denny's Hungry for Education Scholarship is for full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate students attending a 2-year or 4-year HACU-member institution. Students must reside in AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, NM, NY, NV, SC, or TX. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above and major in Business or Hospitality.

NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Award is available for full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending 4-year HACU-member colleges and majoring in Engineering, Business, Public Relations, Mass Media, Sports Marketing, Marketing, Management, or Technology. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above and attend school in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina.

Travelers Scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students attending 4-year HACU-member college or university who are majoring in Accounting, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, General Business, or General Management.

Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is a non-profit organization founded in 1986 and headquartered in Washington, D.C. with offices in San Antonio and Sacramento. The organization works with more than 400 colleges and universities to increase higher education opportunities for Hispanic students.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JUNE of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $5,000.
