To enter the contest, students must read the book and choose one of three essay questions to answer regarding the book. Winners include first, second and third prize winners as well as finalists and semifinalists.

Essays from 800 to 1,600 words will be judged on writing skill, original content and ability to clearly articulate the subject matter.
