To enter the scholarship contest, students need to choose their favorite TV moment and then portray that moment artistically in the form of a drawing, photograph, film, sculpture or painting. The art must clearly tell the story and must include a brief description of the TV moment.
Students entering the contest must have a grade point average of at least 2.5. Students must be either enrolled or currently attending a two-year or four-year college or university. The scholarship money may be used for tuition, fees, room and board, and books.
The scholarship is sponsored by CableTV.com, an online resource guide for finding and comparing services of cable phone providers in regions throughout the country. The service allows consumers to compare services from many different cable providers.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000.
