American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD) Scholarship Program
American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD) Scholarship Program provides scholarships for eligible undergraduate and graduate students who have disabilities. Preference is given to students who plan to pursue careers in the area of public health, health promotion, and disability studies.

Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time in a U.S. accredited college or university; graduate students may be enrolled either part-time or full-time. Students must provide documentation of their disability.

To apply, students should include a cover letter that explains the history of their circumstances, a description of their career goals, and a statement as to why they believe they deserve a scholarship. In addition, two letters of recommendation are required and a college transcript.

The scholarships are offered by the American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD), a non-profit organization located in Rockville, Maryland that is dedicated to promoting education opportunities for disabled students. Their programs also help promote health and wellness for children and adults with disabilities.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount VARIES.
