First Freedom Student Competition

 First Freedom Student Competition
First Freedom Student Competition is an essay scholarship contest for high school students. It is a combination written essay and video production on the topic of religious freedom.

Students from grades 9-12 may apply. The written essay can be from 750 to 1,450 words in length, and the video production can be 5-7 minutes long. Entry is limited to one student per entry.

The scholarship is sponsored by the First Freedom Center in Richmond, Virginia, a non-profit organization that works to protect and preserve fundamental human rights, freedom of religion and freedom of conscience.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500.
