The scholarship covers full tuition and fees, a book allowance, and a living stipend. Eligible students must be U.S. citizens, a resident of Colorado, attended a Colorado school during the junior and senior year, and currently be a high school senior planning to attend a four-year Colorado college or university.
Only the top students are selected to receive Boettcher Foundation Scholarships. They must have the highest academic record. Boettcher Scholars average in the top 2 percent of their class with scores of 1440 on the SAT and 33 on the ACT. They are also leaders in their school and community.
The Boettcher Foundation was formed in 1952 and has awarded over 2,300 scholarships since its beginning. Each year the foundation awards 40 Boettcher Scholarships to deserving Colorado students.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount VARIES.
