Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship
Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship is available to college undergraduate or graduate students majoring or minoring in accounting, business administration, finance or criminal justice. The scholarship is open to students throughout the world interested in careers in fraud examination.

To be eligible, students must currently be enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university. Full time is defined as 9 semester hours per term for undergraduates and 6 semester hours per term for graduate students. Thirty scholarships are awarded every year.

The scholarship is named after two members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Larry Jennings and Tracy Ritchie, both from Houston, Texas. They were killed in 1997 by terrorists in Karachi, Pakistan who fired upon their vehicle.

The scholarship is offered by the ACFE Foundation who works to encourage students to pursue careers in fraud examination. Since its beginning, the organization has awarded nearly half a million dollars in scholarships to over 300 students to assist them in their endeavor to further their education.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in February of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $10,000.
