ABET is a nonprofit organization that accredits college and university programs in the areas of applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. Students applying for the BMW/SAE Engineering Scholarship must have a grade point average of 3.75 or above and have SAT or ACT math and reading scores that place them in the 90th percentile.
To apply, students need to submit a completed application, transcript, and SAT or ACT test scores. Students must be U.S. citizens in order to apply. The scholarship can be renewed an additional three years as long as the recipient continues to meet the qualifications.
