Eligible students must have lived in the specified counties for at least one year. They must also have a SAT score of at least 1,000 or an ACT score of at least 21, and a grade point average of 2.5.
To apply, eligible students may choose the participating college they are interested in and apply directly to the selected college or university. All scholarship applications are processed by the qualifying colleges and universities; deadlines for submitting applications will vary by college.
Stripes operates a series of convenience stores throughout Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. The Stripes College Scholarship Fund was created to support communities in these states by helping youth pursue their educational goals and become future community leaders.
