LIN Media Minority Scholarship
The LIN Media Minority Scholarship is open to minority college juniors and seniors pursuing careers in broadcast television or digital media. Two scholarships are awarded each year to college students attending an accredited college or university in the U.S.

One broadcast television scholarship and one digital media scholarship will be awarded. The scholarships can be used for tuition, fees, books, and room and board. In addition to the scholarships, LIN Media includes a paid internship program for each recipient at one of its television stations around the country. Students must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Approved study majors include broadcast journalism, digital multimedia, mass/speech/digital communication, television production, or marketing.

This scholarship is a combination scholarship and training program. Students who are interested in careers in broadcast television or digital media will not only receive financial help for college but also a paid training opportunity. After graduating and completing the training program, recipients will be assigned full-time positions at LIN Media.

LIN Media is a multimedia company located in Austin, Texas, that broadcasts local news, sports, and entertainment through 43 television stations and seven digital channels in 23 market areas across the U.S.
