Math-O-Vision Contest
Math-O-Vision Contest is open to high school students in grades 9-12. The contest consists of submitting a four-minute video that tells a story inspired by or related to mathematics.

Eligible students must be at least 13 years old and currently a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior in high school. Students who are being home schooled are also eligible. Students may submit a single entry or enter as a group. All applicants must be legal residents of the U.S. or District of Columbia.

Awards include one first-prize winner, two second-prize winners, and three third-prize winners. Entries will be judged by originality, creativity and how well the story describes the ways in which mathematics touches areas such as technology, nature and the arts.

The contest is sponsored by Dartmouth College Neukom Institute for Computational Science and the Department of Mathematics. Dartmouth College is located in Hanover, New Hampshire. The Neukom Institute focuses on teaching students how technology has impacted the success of computer scientists and mathematicians and how technology changes both our personal and professional lives.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MAY of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $4,000.
