Eligible students must have a grade point average of 3.0 and above. The scholarship consists of completing two essays involving fictional characters from film, literature or television. To apply, students must also include a resume, transcript of grades and one letter of recommendation.
LeakyCon is an organization that sprang from the Harry Potter movies that continues the fun by holding an annual convention for Harry Potter fans and others who enjoy stories, discussing stories and movies. The event also includes book discussions, improv lessons, sing-alongs, and movie showings.
The scholarship can only be used for tuition. Students attending school outside the U.S. may also apply.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MAY of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500.
