Proton OnSite Scholarship Program

Proton OnSite Scholarship Program
Proton OnSite Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors interested in science and technology. The scholarship provides financial support for students up to four years in college.

Eligible students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above and plan to enroll full-time in an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. The scholarship is based on academic excellence, financial need, and a commitment to studying and working in the field of science and technology.

The scholarship is sponsored by founder of Lumber Liquidators, Tom Sullivan, who also owns Proton Onsite, a Connecticut-based renewable energy company. The company has sponsored the scholarship since 2009 to encourage and reward the scientific innovation achievements of students.

To apply, eligible students must submit an application, complete an essay, and include three letters of recommendation. The scholarship will renew every year for four years as long as the recipient maintains the required grade point average and remains a full-time student.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $100,000.
