DoSomething.org Bully Text Scholarship is open to students under the age of 25 who invite their friends to learn more about bullying. Every applicant who refers 6 friends to play The Bully Text is entered into the contest to win a scholarship.

The Bully Text takes students through a scenario involving bullying situations and asks how they would react. In the scenarios, the student may take the position of the bully, the victim or a bystander. The purpose of the Bully Text is to get students thinking more about how bullying affects everyone.

The scholarship contest is sponsored by DoSomething.org, a 2.5 million member-based organization of young people who can make a difference in the world by getting involved in social issues. It is one of the largest organizations for youth and social change.

DoSomething.org is headquartered in New York.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JULY of each year, and the award amount is usually $4,000.
