Geddes Creativity Scholarship Contest
Geddes Creativity Scholarship Contest is open to high school juniors and seniors, including those who are home schooled. Candidates must plan to attend either a two-year technical school or four-year college or university.

Applicants must be at least 14 years old and residents of the U.S. The contest consists of submitting an art design that would not only appeal to students in grades K-12 but could also appear on school supplies such as pencils, bookmarks, folders and other products. All artwork submitted should be fun designs and original work of the student.

Artwork will be judged according to creativity, originality, quality, appeal and how well the design can be applied to products. Winners will include first, second and third place prize winners. Eligible students may apply online before the deadline.

The scholarship contest is offered by Raymond Geddes & Company, Inc., a Baltimore, Maryland based producer and seller of affordable pens, pencils, mechanical pencils, erasers and other school supplies designed for school stores, classrooms, and education fundraising. The company was founded in 1924. The scholarship contest gives high school students a chance to show their creativity and earn money for college.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $250 - $1,000.
