Bluetooth Breakthrough Awards For Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators

Bluetooth Breakthrough Awards
Bluetooth Breakthrough Awards welcomes project submissions from students who are the next generation of Bluetooth innovators and young entrepreneurs. High school students, undergraduate and graduate college students are eligible to apply.

The purpose of the Bluetooth Breakthrough Awards Program is to reward the best entries in the categories of products, applications, prototypes and student projects utilizing Bluetooth wireless technology. All entries must be original work that incorporates Bluetooth technology.

Entries will be judged by how well they meet end user needs, organization, and intuition used in the project. One winner will be selected in each category. In addition, one overall winner will win a trip to Bluetooth World (in the USA), two conference passes for the Bluetooth World conference and one free booth exhibit space at the Bluetooth World exhibition to exhibit their winning entry.

The awards are sponsored by The Bluetooth Special Interest Group to highlight innovation in Bluetooth products, applications, prototypes, and student-led projects. The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) was formed in 1998. Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data from fixed and mobile devices, and building personal area networks.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
