O Wines "Opportunity For Success" Scholarship For Low Income Women

The O Wines Opportunity For Success Scholarship, funded through the College Success Foundation, is open to low-income women from any of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. Candidates must be high school seniors who are planning to pursue a four-year undergraduate degree.

Students must have a minimum high school grade point average of 3.20 or above through fall quarter/semester in order to apply. They must be from families whose annual income does not exceed 50 percent of their state's median family income. As long as recipients continue to meet the qualifications, they will continue to receive scholarship funding for four years.

The purpose of the scholarship is to create more opportunities for low-income, high-potential women to attend college and achieve their dreams. O Wines has raised more than $300,000 in scholarships and awarded 52 college scholarships since 2008.

The College Success Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2000 in the state of Washington that was formed to provide education opportunities for underrepresented students.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $20,000.
