The Pink Rose Foundation Breast Cancer Scholarship is awarded to college students whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. It is open to all legal residents of the U.S.
Candidates must be at least 18 but under 25 years of age. The scholarship helps students who want to pursue their higher education goals and have lost a parent in death due to breast cancer.
Students may apply by completing an online application and including an essay explaining how breast cancer has impacted their life. In addition, applicants will be asked to describe how the scholarship will help them fulfill their education and career goals.
The Pink Rose Foundation Inc. is a Massachusetts-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing post-secondary scholarship assistance to children who have lost a parent to breast cancer. Since their beginning in 2003, the organization has awarded $1000 scholarships to 82 college students.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in AUGUST of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000.
