Pittsburgh Penguins Scholarship Programs
Pittsburgh Penguins Scholarship Programs offer scholarships to deserving Pittsburgh area high school seniors. Three different scholarships are offered each year. Students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better to qualify for a Penguins scholarship.

The Inner-City Scholarship is for inner-city high school seniors attending Pittsburgh Public Schools. The scholarship is based on academic achievement, and participation in school and community activities.

Bob Johnson Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Western Pennsylvania high school senior for academic excellence, leadership, sportsmanship, and service to their community. The scholarship is for eligible students who are members of their high school’s hockey program.

Penguins Alumni Association Scholarship is awarded to a Western Pennsylvania high school senior with demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, good citizenship, involvement in school and community, and has a passion for hockey.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,500 - $5,000.
