State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship Program
The State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship Program is open to high school seniors who plan to attend college, technical, or vocational school and have financial need. The scholarship is intended to help students who may not qualify for other scholarships.
Graduating seniors who have a GPA of 2.5 to 3.2 may apply. Applicants must plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate and must also demonstrate financial need. The purpose of the scholarship is to help students who otherwise might not be able to attend college. Ideal candidates will also be leaders and volunteers in their communities.
The scholarship is offered by The State Farm Companies Foundation to help students and also increase awareness of high school dropouts. According to the foundation's research, high school dropout is a national crisis where one student drops out of high school every 26 seconds.
