Signet Classics Student Scholarship Essay Contest
The scholarship contest is offered every year to help high school students earn a scholarship award that can be used toward their higher education. Five scholarships are awarded every year. In addition, scholarship recipients receive a Signet Classics library for their school.
All students who are attending high schools located in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia may apply, including home-schooled students between the ages of 16-18 who are residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. All essays must be mailed by an English teacher on behalf of the student.
The scholarship contest is sponsored by Signet Classics, a publisher of paperback reprints of classics and scholarly works. The publisher has been awarding scholarships since 1996.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000.
