The George Snow Scholarship Fund
The George Snow Scholarship Fund offers need-based scholarships to high school seniors attending certain schools in Florida. Eligible students applying for these scholarships can attend any accredited college, university, vocational/technical school anywhere in the country and major in any subject.

Eligible schools include: Palm Beach County High Schools, Blanche Ely and Pompano Beach High Schools in Northern Broward County, including home-schooled students who will be attending a high school in Palm Beach County or Blanche Ely and Pompano Beach High Schools in Northern Broward County. Also eligible for scholarships are women who live in Miami/Dade County, Broward County and Palm Beach County who want to obtain a degree in Technology and Engineering.

All applicants must demonstrate financial need. They must also be self-motivated, active in their communities, and have strong career and education goals. Eligible candidates may apply online.

The George Snow Scholarship Fund was established in 1982 and is named after Boca Raton, Florida, former math teacher, real estate and construction professional, George Snow. The fund has awarded over 7.3 million dollars in educational grants to deserving students since its beginning.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount VARIES.
