Latinos in Technology Scholarship
Applicants must be graduates of a high school in the Greater Silicon Valley, which includes Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, San Francisco County; Fremont, Newark, and Union City in Alameda County and Scotts Valley in Santa Cruz County. Preference will be given to San Mateo and Santa Clara County high school graduates.
All candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or above and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is renewable up to three years. Up to 100 scholarships are awarded every year.
The scholarship is offered by the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley, a public foundation dedicated to fostering a thriving Hispanic community in Silicon Valley by investing in the educational achievement and leadership development of youth.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JANUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000 - $30,000.
