Brown and Caldwell Minority Scholarship Program is open to full-time college students who are in their junior or senior year, or graduate students enrolled at an accredited college or university. Applicants must be a minority (African American, Hispanic, Asian or Pacific American or Alaska Native).

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and a major in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or one of the environmental sciences, including biology, geology, hydro-geology, ecology.

Eligible students may apply by completing and submitting an online application before the deadline. Grade transcripts must also be provided. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist minority students to seek careers in the environmental engineering industry.

The scholarship is offered by Brown and Caldwell, the largest engineering consulting firm solely focused on the U.S. environment. The company was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Walnut Creek, California.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MAY of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
