GEICO IT Scholarship
Applicants must be pursuing degrees in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, HCI (human computer interaction) or a related technology degree program. They must be full-time students with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
The scholarship is for undergraduate students only. It is not renewable, but students may reapply each year, as long as they meet the requirements.
Geico is the second largest auto insurer in the U.S. The company was founded in 1936 and is headquartered in Chevy Chase, Maryland, and is owned by parent company, Berkshire Hathaway. Geico provides coverage for more than 22 million motor vehicles owned by more than 14 million policy holders.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JANUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $5,000.
