North Dakota Academic or Career and Technical Education Scholarship
North Dakota Academic or Career and Technical Education Scholarship is open to high school graduates planning to attend or currently attending a North Dakota public, private (not-for-profit), or tribal college. Candidates must place in the upper fifth percentile of all North Dakota ACT test takers.
Eligible students must be enrolled or plan to enroll full-time in an accredited college or university or other institution of higher education in North Dakota. A GPA of 2.75 and an ACT score of 24 is required. Full time means students must take 12 credit hours of courses each semester.
The scholarship is provided by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction, a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase educational opportunities for all North Dakota citizens.
Students may apply online by submitting a completed application along with required test scores.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JUNE of each year, and the award amount is usually $6,000.
