IEEE President’s Scholarship

ieee_presidents_scholarship
IEEE President’s Scholarship is available to undergraduate students attending an accredited four-year college or university and majoring in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. One recipient per year is selected.

Eligible students are chosen from among students who present engineering-related projects at the annual Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). A team, comprised of IEEE members and volunteers, reviews all projects in IEEE fields of interest and selects one for the scholarship.

Intel ISEF Fairs take place throughout the year. Students must compete in the Intel ISEF competitions beginning at the state/local level and advance onto the international competition. The Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF), a program of Society for Science & the Public (the Society), is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.

The purpose of the scholarship is to reward one outstanding student per year with a scholarship that will provide them with the financial resources needed to pursue their engineering dreams. IEEE is a non-profit organization and the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology to benefit humanity.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
