Kaiser Permanente Asian Association (KPAA) Scholarships

Kaiser Permanente Asian Association (KPAA) Scholarships are open to high school seniors who either attend high school or reside in the Northern California Kaiser Permanente service area. Up to 7 scholarships are awarded every year.

Candidates must have potential as future leaders and also demonstrate involvement in activities that bring benefit to an Asian community. High school students of any ethnicity may apply.

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and plan to attend an accredited college, university, trade or technical school in Fall.

The Kaiser Permanente Asian Association Scholarship Program was launched in 2000. Since its beginning, 100 students have received KPAA scholarships, for a grand total of $263,000. The Kaiser Permanente Asian Association is a large network of employees and physicians interested in serving the needs of the Asian Pacific Islander communities within the Northern California region.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in APRIL of each year, and the award amount is usually $3,500.
