WFAA Ethnic Awareness Scholarship

WFAA Ethnic Awareness Scholarship is available to promising students of diverse ethnic backgrounds. The award is a one-year scholarship to attend a WFAA member college or university.

Eligible students must attend a Washington Financial Aid Association member college or university. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. They must also have financial need.

Applicants may be a high school senior, college freshman, college sophomore, college junior, college senior, graduated HS – diploma, some college / other degree work, certificate program, or 2 year college degree. Priority will be given to undergraduate students and need-based students.

Washington Financial Aid Association is a professional association of student financial aid administrators in the state of Washington. The organization works with colleges and universities across the state of Washington to help students in high-cost counties such as Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, King, Kitsap, Lewis, and Snohomish to defray the costs of college through financial aid.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in SEPTEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,500.
