Good Tidings Community Service Scholarship

Good Tidings Community Service Scholarship is open to high school seniors graduating from high schools in the Bay Area. Eligible students must reside in one of the eligible counties in need.

The scholarship is based on greatest service and financial need. Applicants must reside in one of the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Yolo.

Students may apply by submitting a completed application and a letter of recommendation. Up to 10 scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who recognize the benefits of serving their community.

The Good Tidings Foundation is a non-profit, public benefit charity that shares the spirit of giving with youth from communities of need in the Bay Area. Through scholarships, the organization empowers youth to reach their dreams. The scholarship award was created in 1999.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in OCTOBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
