National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) Academic Scholarships

National Eagle Scout Association NESA Scholarship
NESA Academic Scholarships are available to Eagle Scouts who are in their senior year of high school. All applicants must be members of the National Eagle Scout Association to receive a scholarship.

Academic scholarship applicants must have a minimum 1800 SAT or 28 ACT score to apply. Two academic scholarship programs are available - the Cook scholarship award and the NESA STEM scholarship award.

Cooke scholarships are awarded based on school and Scouting participation, academic performance, and financial need. Applicants must meet the minimum SAT or ACT score to apply.

NESA STEM scholarships are awarded to one applicant annually who has chosen to pursue a career in a STEM-related field. Applicants for the STEM scholarship who are not selected will automatically be considered for a Cooke scholarship worth $2,500 - $48,000 each.

The National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) is an organization of men who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. NESA's stated purpose is "to serve Eagle Scouts and, through them, the entire movement of Scouting." The organization was founded in 1972.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in OCTOBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500 - $50,000.
