APIASF/Target Scholarship
APIASF/Target Scholarship is open to students of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity who have financial need. Preference is given to Pharmacy majors and college upperclassmen.

Applicants must be full-time students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher. Candidates must be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply.
Applications must be completed online and submitted electronically and must include at least one letter of recommendation. The focus for this scholarship is students who live at or below the poverty level, or are otherwise of low socioeconomic status, and are the first in their families to attend college.

The scholarship is offered through the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF), and is sponsored by Target. Since 2003, APIASF has provided resources that create opportunities for deserving Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students to access, complete and succeed after post-secondary education. The non-profit organization is located in Washington, D.C.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in JANUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500 - $20,000.
