Women in Aviation Scholarships

Women in Aviation Scholarships are open to women who have a passion for aviation. Several scholarships are offered in areas such as Aircraft Dispatcher, Aerospace Engineering, Flight Training, Pilot and more.

Each scholarship has its own requirements which can include GPA, college level for students currently enrolled in an aviation/professional flight degree program at an accredited university, state in which they reside, age, and previous experience.

Distinguished Young Women Scholarships

Distinguished Young Women Scholarships are open to young women across the nation. The scholarships can be either cash scholarships or college-granted scholarships. High school freshmen through seniors may apply.

College-funding scholarships are available at 20 colleges located in North Carolina, Florida, Montana, Maryland, California, Alabama, Idaho, Minnesota, Washington, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.

Washington Women In Need Education Grant Program

Washington Women In Need Education Grant Program is open to women in their first year of a two-year academic program and their first or second year of a four-year academic program. The scholarship pays for one year for tuition and required books, and recipients are eligible to apply for one additional grant

Scholarship recipients may attend any approved Washington college or university of their choice. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the state of Washington for at least the past 12 months. Eligibility is based on annual household income. For a family of two, for example, household income must be at or below $35,500 per year.

Girls Inc. National Scholars Program

The Girls Inc. National Scholars Program offers scholarships to female high school seniors graduating from affiliate high schools located throughout the U.S. and Canada. Candidates must be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States or Canada.

The private scholarship is open only to young women who are in the 11th or 12th grade and who are members of a Girls Inc. affiliate. Multiple scholarships are awarded each year and may be applied to tuition and expenses at any accredited 2- or 4-year college or university.

Women Forward in Technology Scholarship

Women Forward in Technology Scholarship is open to women who are planning to pursue careers in the STEM fields. Applicants must be women, both U.S. citizen and non-citizen, who are attending a U.S. accredited university and majoring in a STEM field.

Candidates must have a GPA of 3.5 or above and can be either undergraduate or graduate students. They must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university in the US, in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) field. Multiple scholarships are awarded every year.

Mildred C. Hanson SIOR Memorial Scholarship

Mildred C. Hanson SIOR Memorial Scholarship is open to qualified female students interested in obtaining an education that will lead them into productive careers in the commercial real estate industry. Juniors and seniors may apply.

Scholarship applicants must be females who are in their junior or senior year pursuing an undergraduate degree in an accredited four-year college or university program in the U.S. or Canada. They must be majoring in real estate or business/finance with a concentration in real estate.

The Judy Corman Memorial Scholarship

The Judy Corman Memorial Scholarship open to college students interested in a career in public relations. Applicants must be majoring or (for high school seniors) declaring a major in a communications-related field. The scholarship includes a paid summer internship at the company's New York City headquarters.

Applicable majors include advertising, broadcasting, communications, English, film, journalism, marketing, new media, or public relations. Candidates must have an overall GPA of 3.2 or above. One scholarship is awarded every year.

New York Women in Communications Inc. Foundation Scholarship Program

New York Women in Communications Inc. Foundation Scholarship Program is open to women who are high school seniors and permanent residents of NY, NJ, CT or PA, and also attend a high school in one of these states. Applicants must major in a communications-related field.

Candidates may major in advertising, broadcasting, communications, English, film, journalism, marketing, new media, public relations and other majors relating to the field of communications. A GPA of 3.2 or higher is required. They must also demonstrate need and a strong commitment and involvement in the field of communications.

The HWC Scholarship Program For Hispanic Women

The HWC Scholarship Program offers academic scholarships and mentorship to Hispanic women who are residents of New Mexico. It is available to continuing college students who are attending college either as traditional or non-traditional students.

Applicants must be females of Hispanic descent, residents of New Mexico, and formally accepted or currently enrolled in either the University of New Mexico (UNM) or Central New Mexico Community College (CNM).

UNCF Davis Scholarship For Women In STEM

UNCF Davis Scholarship For Women In STEM is open to minority female students pursuing careers in the STEM fields. The program is available only to female students who are majoring in a STEM field, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Applicants can be college freshmen through college senior and must attend a United Negro College Fund (UNCF) member college. Candidates must be females with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible students must be first-time enrollees at a UNCF member college. The scholarship is open to all U.S. residents; preference will be given to students from Massachusetts.

Beyoncé Formation Scholars Program

Beyoncé Formation Scholars Program is open to young women who plan to attend one of four participating colleges and major in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies. Four scholarships will be awarded.

Applicants must be females who are creative, confident, and bold. They may be incoming freshmen, current college students, or graduate students. They must attend one of four participating colleges: Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design and Spelman College. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or above.

The Future Is Female Scholarship

The Future Is Female Scholarship is open to all females who are pursuing their educational goals. Candidates may major in any field of their choice.

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and be a U.S. citizen or resident. The scholarship may be used for any course of study, whether it's Coding, Design, Marketing, Research, Film or any other major. The award includes a scholarship, plus True&Co. Brand products.

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship is open to all women pursuing undergraduate and master's degrees in business management. Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited business or business-related program.

Twelve (12) international scholarships and up to 32 district/region scholarships are awarded each year. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding potential in the field of business. AFCEA Scholarships

AFCEA Scholarships are offered to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled and attending full time at four-year colleges or universities in the United States. Several scholarships are offered, ranging from chapter scholarships and education scholarships to diversity, teacher, STEM majors and veterans.

NANBPWC Scholarships For African American Females

NANBPWC Scholarships For African American Females offers four different scholarships for outstanding females of African American descent. Each scholarship is merit based and requires completion of an essay.

The Dr. Julianne Malveaux Scholarship - open to African American females who are college sophomores or juniors. Candidates must submit a 1000 word essay on the topic: Your Career Plans and Their Relevance to the Dr. Julianne Malveaux program theme: Black Women's Hands Can Rock The World."

InStyle and Audi Style Scholarship

InStyle and Audi Style Scholarship is open to women who have creative ideas in artistic, business, lifestyle or community-related fields. The scholarship is for self-starters who want to take their careers to the next step.

Woman may apply by submitting a 150-word essay describing why their idea is worthy of a Style Scholarship and how they will spend the prize. They must also include details of their business plan, a list of their accomplishments, and a photo.

Armenian International Women's Association (AIWA) Scholarships

Armenian International Women's Association (AIWA) Scholarships are open to female students of Armenian descent who are attending accredited colleges or universities. Applicants must be full-time female students.

Candidates must be entering either their junior or senior year of undergraduate college, or graduate students. The scholarship is based on financial need as well as merit. Four different scholarships are available. A total of up to 25 students are chosen to receive scholarships every year.

Deputy Scholarship for Women in Technology

Deputy Scholarship for Women in Technology is open to women who are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, business technology administration or a related IT field.

Candidates must be female, full-time students enrolled at an accredited public or private (non-profit) college or university in the U.S. All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Students may major in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Multimedia Computing and other related technology majors.

Society of Women Engineers Golden Gate Section (SWE-GGS) Scholarship

Society of Women Engineers Golden Gate Section (SWE-GGS) Scholarship is offered to qualified young Bay Area women graduating from high school and planning to attend college to pursue degrees in engineering and other related degrees.

Candidates must be females who have an excellent academic record and demonstrate financial need. They must also reside or attend school in the boundaries of the Golden Gate Section, including San Francisco, Marin, Napa, Sonoma, San Mateo counties and parts of Contra Costa and Alameda counties. They must be graduating seniors planning to attend a four-year college or university and majoring in engineering or computer science.

The Vietnamese American Professional Women Association of Silicon Valley Scholarship

The Vietnamese American Professional Women Association of Silicon Valley (VAPW) Scholarship is open to female high school seniors who are of Vietnamese ancestry and attending school in Santa Clara County, California.

Every year, 2-4 deserving female students are awarded scholarships. Candidates must be first-year college attendants and demonstrate financial need. Candidates must have strong academic records, leadership qualities, a commitment to community service, and have the potential to be future leaders in their communities.
