State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship

State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship
State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship program awards 100 scholarships each year to children or legal dependents of State Farm agents, retirees or company employees. The scholarships are renewable each year up to four years of college

Scholarship awards are managed through the National Merit Scholarship program. The amount of each scholarship depends on college or university costs, financial status of the student's family, and other scholarships the student may be receiving. Generally, the awards are from $3,000 to $8,000 per year.

Founded in 1963, the State Farm Companies Foundation has been awarding not only scholarships but also supporting programs directed by employees, giving grants to support volunteer efforts, and awarding matching gifts to colleges and universities with both two-year and four-year programs.

Students must take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NSQT) test in their junior year of high school in order to qualify.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $3,000 to $8,000.
