Winston Churchill Foundation Scholarship is open to college students who are U.S. citizens and between the ages of 19-26 years old. The scholarship is for students to attend the University of Cambridge pursuing a Masters of Philosophy (MPhil), a Certificate of Post-Graduate Study (CPGS in different fields), a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS in theoretical or applied mathematics), or a Diploma in Computer Science.

Students must have a grade point average of 3.7 in order to apply. The scholarship covers one year at the University of Cambridge. In addition to the scholarship, students will receive a travel allowance as well as a living stipend. The scholarship is offered at participating colleges and universities across the country.

Accepted fields of study include many areas of science, engineering, mathematics and technology. Examples include mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, public health, zoology, and much more.

The scholarship was created by the Winston Churchill Foundation. Winston Churchill was a great statesman who served two terms as Prime Minister of Great Britain. He is considered as one of the greatest iconic figures of the twentieth century and often remembered by his famous words during WWI to the Royal Air Force, “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.”

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $44,000 - $50,000.
