Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MMCA) LMJ Scholarship is open to law students who are pursuing a career in the law profession. The scholarship seeks to award outstanding students who are committed to diversity and inclusion.

Students must be attending law school full-time and have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. Applicants must also have financial need and attend an accredited law school in the U.S. Each student who applies must have an interest in a career in corporate law in either a law firm or in the law department of a corporation.

A total of 15 scholarships are awarded each year. The purpose of the scholarship is to increase the number of diverse students in the law profession. To apply, students need to submit an application, complete an essay, and include a resume, transcripts and two letters of recommendation.

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association, Inc. (MCCA) was founded in 1997 and it located in Washington, D.C. The organization's mission is to support diversity in the hiring, retention, and promotion of attorneys in legal departments and firms.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MAY of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
