The Federation Executive Recruitment & Education Program (FEREP) is a scholarship for Jewish students who plan to pursue a career as professional leaders for the North American Jewish Federation system. Eligible areas of study include non-clinical social work, public administration, or business administration.

Candidates must be Jewish students who have received their Bachelors degree and are pursuing a graduate degree at an accredited U.S. institution. They must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. In addition, applicants will need excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership qualities, a good understanding of and interest in the core mission of the Jewish Federation System, and a strong commitment to the Jewish community.

In return for a scholarship, recipients must agree to spend two years of paid work at a North American Jewish Federation after they complete graduate school. The scholarship is funded and offered by the Jewish Federations of North America Mandel Center for Leadership Excellence.

The Jewish Federations of North America is a non-profit organization representing 157 Jewish Federations and 300 independent Jewish communities across North America. It provides fundraising, organization assistance, training, and support and leadership to the Jewish Federations and its communities throughout the United States and Canada.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in FEBRUARY of each year, and the award amount is usually $40,000.
