Beyoncé Formation Scholars Program

Beyonce Formation Scholars Program
Beyoncé Formation Scholars Program is open to young women who plan to attend one of four participating colleges and major in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies. Four scholarships will be awarded.

Applicants must be females who are creative, confident, and bold. They may be incoming freshmen, current college students, or graduate students. They must attend one of four participating colleges: Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design and Spelman College. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
The purpose of the scholarship is to “encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.” Berklee President Roger H. Brown considers Beyoncé to be a strong role model for students.

The scholarship was created by singer, writer, producer, performer, and humanitarian, Beyoncé, to celebrate the anniversary of her Lemonade album release. All details and application deadlines are available directly from the colleges.

The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MAY of each year, and the award amount is usually $25,000.
