The KFC Colonel's Scholars Program provides funding for high school seniors with entrepreneurial drive, strong perseverance, and a financial need to pay for college. The funds can be used to pay for tuition and fees, books, and room and board. The program is funded entirely by KFC, one of the world's largest fast-food chains.
To qualify, applicants must be current high school students graduating this academic year, and they must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.75. They must also have plans to earn a bachelor's degree at an accredited public, in-state college or university. In addition, they must be U.S. citizens or legal residents that can demonstrate a financial need.
All applications must be submitted online, and after the deadline, all applications will be reviewed and semifinalists will be selected by an independent selection committee.
THIS SCHOLARSHIP HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED BY KFC.
