Lowe's Educational Scholarship is open to all high school seniors who plan to attend any accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S. Students or their parents must have employment or volunteer experience in community service.
Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation awards $600,000 in scholarship to students across the nation in communities serviced by Lowe's. The Lowe's Educational Scholarship is for all students in the U.S., including Lowe's employees and their children. Eligible students must be high school seniors, must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.25, and must have experience in community service and other leadership activities.
In addition to the Lowe's Educational Scholarship, Lowe's has a scholarship program called the Carl Buchan Scholarship which is ONLY for U.S. full- and part-time regular Lowe’s employees, their spouses/domestic partners and their dependents. Eligible employees can be part-time or full-time and can be either high school seniors or currently attending college and have completed one semester. A grade point average of 3.25 must be maintained.
Lowe's scholarship awards can be used for a U.S. two-year or four-year college, university or technical school. Scholarship funds may cover tuition, books, fees and supplies. Although the scholarship is not renewable, students can reapply each year.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in MARCH of each year, and the award amount is usually $2,500 - $5,000.
