UPS Scholarship Program awards scholarships to students planning to attend a Foundation for Independent Higher Education (FIHE) affiliated four-year college, National Merit Scholars and scholarships for the children of employees of UPS.
FIHE participating colleges include 665 independent colleges currently located in 32 states across the U.S. Both U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens may apply for this scholarship. They may also attend part-time or full-time as long as the institution is a four-year affiliate college of FIHE. The scholarship is need-based and can be used one time only in the freshman through senior year of college.
In addition, UPS offers the James E. Casey Scholarship Program for U.S. students whose children are UPS employees and who are planning to attend a four-year college or university. This scholarship is renewable over four years of college and includes scholarships for Achievement Scholars, Merit Scholars, and students who are Canadian and Mexican.
UPS offers another scholarship, the George D. Smith Scholarship Program, for students who want to enroll in a two-year program at a business or vocational and technical school. They can also choose to pursue a two-year degree at a four-year college. They must be enrolled full-time and have parents who work full-time at UPS and plan on achieving an associates degree or certificate.
