Vanguard Minority Scholarship Program is available to students entering their junior or senior year of college and who are minority students with excellent academic records.
Students must be attending full-time a four-year college or university and pursuing a degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting. A grade point average of 3.0 or above is required. Up to ten scholarships are awarded each year; they are not renewable. Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Students must be a member of a racial or ethnic minority and must be U.S. citizens. The scholarship is based on merit and financial need is not considered.
The scholarship program is sponsored by Vanguard, one of the world's largest investment management companies. Founded in 1975, the company is headquartered in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, and has locations throughout the world.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in NOVEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
