BBB Student of Integrity Scholarship is designed to help students in the state of Colorado who are economically disadvantaged to be able to attend college. Students applying for this scholarship must have the highest character, leadership and ethical values.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors with a grade point average of 2.5 or above. Students must be planning to attend an accredited college or university in Colorado. They must meet the income guidelines for a Pell Grant in order to be eligible.
To apply, students must write a 400 word essay, include 2-3 recommendations, describe activities that demonstrate their commitment to their community, as well as extracurricular activities at school. Students must be U.S. citizens and legal residents of Colorado.
The scholarship is sponsored by the Better Business Bureau of Colorado. The organization works to uphold high ethics and standards in business practices. The goal of the scholarship is to encourage students to become ethical members of their communities and future leaders of the Colorado business community.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in SEPTEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $10,000.
