Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Program awards scholarship to freshman and sophomore students attending 2-year community colleges. Students must be members of Phi Theta Kappa, excel academically, and have good leadership skills to qualify.
Students must be enrolled at least part-time at a two-year or four-year college and pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree. A grade point average of 3.5 for all coursework completed in the last five years is required. Students must also have high moral standards, with no criminal record, suspensions, probation or other disciplinary actions.
Each year, the Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team program awards $187,500 in scholarships to students who achieve academic excellence and also demonstrate strong leadership skills. Up to 150 scholarships are awarded each year.
The scholarship is sponsored by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. The foundation was formed in 1989 and supports students with exceptional academic achievement and a passion for helping others in their communities.
The deadline for this scholarship is usually in DECEMBER of each year, and the award amount is usually $1,000 - $1,500.
